Proyectos Europeos

lLa comunidad de CICAT y el trabajo en clave clúster nos llevan de forma muy natural a conectarnos con otras realidades internacionales a través de proyectos europeos.

This is a collaborative project with other European lighting clusters, aimed at bridging the gap between art and business, with a special focus on the lighting design value chain. The project will foster co-creation opportunities and networking among artists, lighting designers and architects, lighting SMEs, and young future professionals. Its goal is to promote mutually beneficial cooperation, nurture talent, and strengthen the connection between art and entrepreneurship to embrace the digital and ecological transition.

The main objective is to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs in the lighting and habitat sector through the implementation and use of advanced «deep tech» technology.

The project will have a direct impact on the involved companies, as 75% of the budget will be allocated directly to SMEs to support services related to green and digital transformation, and resilience.

ExtraLight Project

ExtraLight strengthens cross-border collaboration among European clusters in the lighting and furniture industries, jointly paving the way for SMEs in public procurement in non-EU third countries: USA, Canada, and Japan.

ExtraLight will expand internationalization services of associated clusters with a significant emphasis on public procurement, concretely supporting companies in identifying relevant public tenders and facilitating access to tender procedures.

Elca4I Project

Elca4I aims to intensify cross-border cluster collaboration and support the establishment of strategic European cluster partnerships to lead international cooperation in areas of strategic interest for lighting companies toward third countries beyond Europe.

This project promotes cluster internationalization, with the ELCA4i consortium developing and implementing a joint internationalization strategy, identifying common objectives for specific third markets outside Europe, and adopting an implementation roadmap to facilitate the internationalization of their SME members.

Brilliant Project

BRILLIANT aims to enhance excellence in cluster management and facilitate exchanges and strategic partnerships between European lighting clusters and construction and furniture clusters representing their value chain. This will also be achieved through the implementation of a new pilot program called «ClusterXchange.»
